Sweet Moments

After a game of hide and seek, some tickles, and a little splashing in the stream, we finished the evening with a sucker!!  I could have sat there all day and watched these two!!  Baby brother wasn't quite sure what to do with the sticky ball of sugar, but he knew he liked it!!  And big sister did a great job sharing and showing him exactly how to eat it!!  One of life's most important lessons if you ask me.....I love this job!!

It's official, I love Seniors!!!

When I started this business venture, I knew I would love working with kids and families.  What I didn't know is how much fun I would have shooting High School Seniors!  This one was a blast! We went from location to location and with each click of the shutter I could feel myself getting more excited to get home and download the images to the computer.   They were better than I hoped for......beautiful, sophisticated and those eyes!!!  Wow!!   The biggest challenge once again has been picking just a few favorites to post to the blog!!  Here's just a quick look....more to come!  Thanks so much to this Super Senior and her family!  You guys were a blast!!  I REALLY enjoyed it!!

Worth the Wait!

We've been trying to schedule this family since last year!  Well I have to say it was well worth the wait!  Not only are they super photogenic, they were tons of fun too!!  We did everything from climbing rocks to jumping off picnic tables and in between it all we captured some crazy smiles, and precious moments.....Here's just a few of my favorites!

Gold Medal Good Looks!

I don't know if many of you have been following the Olympic Games.  I've been watching my favorite events each night from behind my computer.  As it turns out the US is ahead in the overall medal count but a little behind in terms of gold.  Then it dawned on me....  We need an event for the country's cutest kids.  If I could enter these two, the US of A would be untouchable when it comes to Gold Medals!!  Add another category for personality and we'd be breaking all time records!!  Thanks to mom and dad for inviting me to spend the morning with them!  What a blast!

Just Playing Around

I always love to play around with new edits.  It's amazing how the smallest change can have big effects on the "feel" of a photo.  This is one from a recent shoot.  (Just two post earlier).  I liked the way it turned out so I thought I would share!  (Yes it's always a bonus when the subjects are so stinkin' adorable!!) Feel free to comment...I'm always interested in what people are thinking!!

One Beautiful Miracle

There's not much to say about this little bundle except that she really is  an angel.  She had a rough start to life, but couldn't be any more perfect!  With ten little fingers, ten little toes and one beautiful little smile....she's living proof that miracles really do happen! Congrats again to her mom, dad and her handsome big brothers! Thanks so much for the opportunity to capture your beautiful family!

Getting Big. Staying Beautiful!!

It's hard to believe that not to long ago we were taking pictures of a family of three....Now there's four and baby sister is already 6 months old!!   Where does the time go?  Photographing these girls is always a blast and this time was no exception!!!  Thanks to mom for the opportunity to capture a few pieces of their childhood!!
