Sleeping Beauty

It took a few feedings, a space heater and the microwave fan to get this little bundle to fall asleep.  Once she did,  she was like a sleeping beauty.   We did everything form putting her in a tutu to wrapping her in a bow and she never even wiggled!!!   All comfy cozy and snuggled up, I could have snapped away all day!!  Look at those eyes on big brother too!!  He was such a blast.....a little bundle of personality that I would have loved to stash away with my gear and taken home!!   Thanks mom and dad for letting me capture these precious miracles!!  

Look Out! New Law Enforcement in Town!!

Well, needless to say dad's a police officer so we decided to have a little fun with his gear!!  I couldn't wait to get home and download these to my computer!!!  Baby brother was as content as can be!  I had so much fun just molding him into all kinds of different poses!  He just went with the flow.  Big brother was a little unsure of me at first.  To get him smiling, we opened the front door and I did a little dance in the snow!!  I don't know who was laughing harder, mom and dad or big brother!!  In the end, we got some great expressions.....it was worth every bit of my dignity (or lack there of)!!  Oh and just to be clear, the entertainment is included in the session fee!!!  hehehehe!!  What a blast this job is!!

Baby Boom!

I 'm not sure if there's something in the air, or maybe it has something to do with the moon,  but there sure has been a burst of babies these past few weeks!!  This is one of five newborn shoots I've had in the past few weeks!!  This family was actually one of my first clients last year.  Needless to say this little guys wasn't around at the time.  No doubt he'll have lots of siblings looking after him.....that's a good thing  'cause he's quite the looker already and barely two weeks old!!  Thanks mom and dad for inviting me into your home for the morning!!

I'm done smiling..

So I kidnapped these two brown eyed beauties one afternoon  (no worries, they are actually my niece and nephew!!)  We spent an hour running around the park while I snapped away.  As we were completing our lap around the lake, and my finger was still snapping away, my little nephew put his hands to his mouth, looked at me and somewhat annoyed said "I'm done smiling"!!  And there you have the first picture of this bunch!!  Priceless!!!!  

Go Bucks!

I have to say the Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons.  The only thing I don't like is that the days are so much shorter!!  It's really cutting into my photo time!!  Thanks Goodness that this family is so good lookin'!!  We were able to get some great shots before we lost our light at the park!!   With the big game on Saturday, the timing couldn't be better with this post!  Go Buckeyes!!  

Three Cheers for Three Perfect Smiles!

It's a family of Athletes no doubt!!  Dad is a former Michigan State ball player and the boys are definitely following in his footsteps.  On the sidelines, little sister cheers them on with some serious gymnastics and dance moves!!  Smart, Athletic,  good lookin', but most important of all they are really nice kids!!  And if you happen to be on their Christmas Card list....so cute.....They turned out to be one of my favorites this year!!  I'll post the design after the holidays.  Wouldn't want to ruin the surprise before then!!
